Lemonpeel Angelfish - Central Pacific

Centropyge flavissimus

(0 Reviews)

The Lemonpeel Angelfish; Marshall Islands, Centropyge flavissimus, features a bright yellow body color with sky blue highlights on the face and outlining the fins and tail. Due to aggression towards other Angelfish they are best kept singly but will do well with other fish.

They are not reef safe, as they will nip at soft and stony polyp corals, sessile invertebrates and clam mantles. Diet should include a variety of spirulina, marine algae, seaweed, high quality angelfish preparations, mysis and brine shrimp, 3 times daily.

Its a pretty fish. Love the bright yellow color. It's pretty shy (hides alot) and quite a finnicky eater. That was why I only gave him 4 stars. I've only had him for less than a week.. Hoping he'll live harmoniously with tank mates once he's out of quarantine.
