Janss' Pipefish, Doryrhamphus janssi, has a blue front and back region bisected by a large section of red/orange. These unique fish make perfect dwellers in small seahorse and pipefish only tanks. Janss' Pipefish is best kept on a carnivorous diet of live copepods found on live rock as well as macroalgaes. They can eat frozen brine and mysis but this should not be their main source of sustenance.They are best kept with other pipefish or seahorses in a tank of at least 25 gallons. Janss' Pipefish should be housed in tanks with plenty of live rock creating places for them to hide.
