The Twospot Candy Hogfish, Bodianus bimaculatus, is also known as the Two Spot Hogfish, Twin Spot Hogfish, Twinspot Hogfish, Two Spot Candy Hogfish, Yellow Hogfish, Yellow Candy Hogfish, Two Spot Slender Hogfish, and Twospot Slender Hogfish. It features a vibrant yellow and pink body, faint red horizontal stripes, and a distinct black spot behind its eye and near its tail. This fish certainly makes a statement with its appearance. The Twospot Candy Hogfish should be kept in a tank with plenty of live rock hiding places, and devoid of small inverts and fishes which the Twospot will gladly eat at. Due to its territorial aggressiveness, if multiple Twospot Candy Hogfish are desired they should be introduced into the tank at the same time and plenty of space should be provided so they each can find their own niche. They will eat an omnivorous diet of live or frozen meaty foods as well as quality flake food.

Very lovely. I thought Twospot Candy Hogfish - South Asia and the damsels were fighting, but it looks like they will seek him out and he will seek them. They seem to play in a way the damsels never did with each other. He stays closer to the bottom and doesn't come up to compete for food. I didn't think he was eating but then I realized my cheto was all but gone. Hungry as a herbivore.
