The Dotted Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus punctatus), also known as the Fine-Spotted or Rose Belly Wrasse, is a beautifully colored fish found among the Central Pacific down to the coast of Australia. They can vary in color, typically having an orange or bronze coloration with purple fins and orange eyes. Their body is covered in small white spots, from which they derive their common names. They may be kept in reef aquariums and, reaching a maximum size of 5 inches, do well in tanks of at least 50 gallons. They are carnivorous and should be offered a variety of carnivorous based meals daily. They are capable of jumping, so lids are recommended.
