The Black Clown Goby, Gobiodon strangulatus, also known as the Black Goby, features a muted black body with black fins and a round head.
They are best kept in tanks of at least 20 gallons with live rock and a sandy substrate. The Black Clown Goby can be aggressive with other gobies in small tanks but will be fine in large tanks. They will often mate and reproduce when held together. They will eat a varied carnivorous diet.
