The Beadlelt Anemone (Actinia equina) is a relatively rare find in the marine life industry. They have a deep red foot with their tentacles being slightly lighter in color, some being almost pink. They can be found in the intertidal regions of Eastern Africa, where they eat small crustaceans and fish that land in their grasp. They require high amounts of oxygen and light. They are reef safe, though they should be monitored around other corals, as they can travel and sting nearby corals in the process. They rely mostly on a carnivorous diet and should be fed 2 - 3 times a week, as they have a rapid metabolism. Lightning should also be provided.
