The Starry Eye Possum Wrasse, Wetmorella albofasciata, also known as the White Banded Possum Wrasse, Whitebanded Sharpnose Wrasse, and Whitebanded Pygmy Wrasse. The Starry Eye Possum Wrasse gets its name from the white bands that cross over its eyes shooting out in five different directions resembling a star. These bands feature elsewhere on its body as vertical striping. The Starry Eye Possum Wrasse also has some medium-sized black spots on near its dorsal and caudal fins towards its rear. Males and females are similar in color but the male's colors will intensify during mating.
Two males should not be kept together but a male and up to four females can be kept together. They are best kept in a tank with plenty of live rock and live substrate allowing them to scavenge for food and hide.
