Rhilabrus squirei, commonly known as Squire's Fairy Wrasse, is a recently discovered species of fairy wrasse found in the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Seas. Squire's Fairy Wrasse is a colorful and vibrant species with distinct markings and unique coloration. Males of the species are known for their striking appearance, displaying a combination of bright red, orange, and blue colors on their bodies and fins, while females tend to have more muted colors. The species has been described as a small, reef-dwelling fish that inhabits shallow waters and is typically found in rocky reef environments.
Reaching a length of up to 4 inches this small wrasse needs a lot of room, therefore it is best to house them in tanks 50 gallons or larger with lots of live rock and peaceful non aggressive tank mates. They are coral safe and eat a variety of foods inclduing brine, mysis, articpods, and other saltwater frozen foods.
