The Epaulette Tang (Acanthurus nigricaudus), also known as the Black Shoulder or Eye-Line Suergeonfish, can be found among the reefs and sandy lagoons of the Indo-Pacific Ocean. They have a grey or brown body with yellow fins and a horizontal black streak behind their eye. Reaching a maximum size of 16 inches, they should be kept in a tank of at least 250 gallons, as they require plenty of space to swim. They should be fed an omnivorous diet of mysis mixed with nori or marine seaweed.
