Tracey's Damselfish (Chrysiptera traceyi) can be found singly or in pairs among seaward reefs in the Indo-Pacific. They have a blue or purple anterior section, which fades into a bronze or yellow towards the caudal fin with a single black spot under their dorsal fin. They reach a maximum size of 3 inches and feed on a variety of food, including mysis, krill and seaweed. As is true for many damselfish, they may be semi-aggressive towards other tankmates. They do well in tanks of at least 30 gallons with plenty of live rock to hide among.
