The Purple Sea Slug, Hypselodoris bullocki, is a natural predators that are not necessarily reef safe. They feature a gorgeous sleek purple body with white outlines and an orange antennaes. They can be great members of a clean-up crew as they can sometimes eat algae. As they can be difficult to care for, only expert aquarists should attempt to care for the Purple Sea Slug. If threatened, they can release a toxic substance. If cared for properly, the Purple Sea Slug looks wonderful in a reef tank.
