The Niger Trigger, Odonus niger, is a wonderfully colored triggerfish that is relatively peaceful. Its deep turquoise/grey body with neon blue face lining make for a stunning addition to an aquarium. They can be housed as multiples if introduced together to avoid territorialism. Given their carnivorous diet for invertebrates, they are not recommended for reef aquariums and do well in FOWLR tanks.
