Origin: Christmas Islands
Acclimation Time: 3+ hours
Reef Safe: Monitor
Minimum Tank Size: 125 gallons
Maximum Size: 10 inches
Apolemichthys xanthopunctatus, also known as the Gold-Spangled Angelfish, has magnificent coloration and designs. It has a primarily brownish-gold body with yellow speckles, while its fins are dark black with a blue rim. The Goldflake Angelfish is a safer choice among large Angelfish when pairing with corals, as though still possible, it is less prone to nipping at corals. They are a relatively new addition to the aquarium trade and little is known about their habits or reproduction. They should be fed a varied diet of meat, algae and sponge, and enjoy grazing throughout the day. They grow to 10 inches in length and should be housed in a tank no smaller than 125 gallons.

Currently Goldflake Angelfish does not have any reviews.
