The elephant ear sponge possesses a highly peaceful nature and can be housed with any inhabitant of the tank. The Elephant ear sponge grows up to 7 inches and should not be housed in a tank less than 50 gallons. Make sure to add plenty of rocks in the aquarium where it can hide or graze when required or stressed.
