The Snowflake Clownfish, Amphiprion ocellaris, is a popular variant clownfish that features irregular white markings across its body. With jagged and angular edges, the clownfish resembles a snowflake. 

Each Snowflake Clownfish is evaluated by an experienced grader for the percentage of white and the attractiveness of the striping. Just as their name implies - no two are alike. This Snowflake Clownfish is aquaculture by Proaquatix located in Vero Beach, FL. 

They are reef safe, peaceful, hardy, and able to be paired with an anemone making them a wonderful addition to any home aquarium. 

The Snowflake Clownfish, like many other aquacultured clownfish receive grades on their banding patterns. A Grade A fish is the most spectacular in its variation, banding, and coloration. These are the prized specimens that are often the centerpieces of many tanks. For the case of the Snowflake Clownfish this means the clown will have at the most spectacular curves, strokes, and patterns. Grade B fish exhibit many of the same qualities as Grade A fish just to a lesser extent. They will still have beautiful wavy bands but they may not connect. A Grade C fish will be just the same with possibly less wavy and beautiful bands. The grades have nothing to do with the fish's health, simply their visual appearance.
