The Bubble Tip Anemone, Entacmaea quadricolor, is mainly found in reefs, and its pedal discs are usually attached deep within the dead coral. The Bubble Tip Anemone can stretch its tentacles on predating and are called sweeper tentacles. It has the ability to sting other anemones and corals, therefore keep these aforementioned organisms away from the Bubble Tip Anemone. It requires strong illumination supplied by metal halides, LED, or intense florescent lighting of at least 6 watts per gallon. The Bubble Tip Anemone should be kept not less that 30 gallon, as it intends to grow up to 12 inch across in the aquarium. If there are clownfish present in the tank, then the Bubble Tip Anemone can get acclimatized in the tank much more easily - they will also pair well with clownfish. It can be fed with chopped fish, shrimp, or worms. To maintain its vibrant color it should be fed with vitamin enriched food, that helps in maintaining a long lasting color. It thrives well in a temperature range of 72-78 degrees Fahrenheit, and pH of 8.1-8.4, therefore the water parameters has to be regulated daily for its proper growth. The tentacles are covered by numerous stinging cells called cnidocytes, which darts tiny hairpin-like structures into prey when contact is made, which then inject venom into the victim, so please handle with care. The Bubble Tip Anemone can produce multiple copies of themselves every few weeks, but the breeding in captivity is difficult.
The False Percula Clownfish, Amphiprion ocellaris, has an orange body with three white bands outlined in black as well as black edging on the fins and tail. The "false" moniker comes from the fact that the orange coloration is slightly muted from the true percula clownfish, though the band pattern is almost identical. They are social and very peaceful with other species as well as other peaceful clownfish and can even be kept in a school if the tank is large enough. They are also very hardy, and a great choice for a beginner.

Clownfish are reef safe and can be kept with non aggressive invertebrates and corals, and most clowns will host an anemone present in the tank. Diet should include a variety of frozen and live mysis and brine shrimp as well as spirulina, marine algae, nori, and algae based foods, 2-3 times daily.

Both arrived healthy, both eating, both beautiful, however the Clownfish does not go anywhere near the anemone. Am I suppose to do something to get him to go in there?

The anemone and clown fish came in l looking great. The anemone was a good size but the clown fish was a little bit smaller than I expected. Both seem to be doing well. The anemone is currently not hosting the clown fish but I believe that may be due to pre-established territories with the fish that were present at the time of adding. I may have to "reshuffle" the rocks to set up new territories before those two start co-existing. Overall, good price for the both plus the free shipping were too good to pass up.

The clownfish was a lot larger than I expected (for the price I expected a very small one) and was pleasantly surprised! The clownfish is very active and eats well....The anemone is doing well and insists on hiding on my coral toward the back of the tank lol! Both were very good purchases especially for the price!

Arrived fat and healthy. This anemone is one "roaming" character! I lost him the second day after dropping him in the sand. He moved... And moves quite a bit but is doing great. I've hand fed him some fish cheeks from the freezer ,live brine shrimp and frozen shrimp. When it spreads it's a wonderful thing! I have several clown fish who seem to ignore him in favor of fake anemone and colorful plants. They are tank raised so I'll let you know soon how that hosting thing goes.
