The War Paint Clown Goby, Gobiodon atrangulatus, gets its name from its intricate face markings and its luxurious green body. Like other Goby species, the War Paint Clown Goby will often create its own burrow in the sand - sometimes these burrows are shared in a symbiotic relationship with the Pistol Shrimp. Therefore, a tank with plenty live rock, a sandy substrate, and a tightly sealed lid to prevent escapes is recommended. They will eat a carnivorous diet consisting of chopped meaty foods.
Adorable little guy, I just love him.
Dont expect to see this fish much unless there are no places to hide for this fish. Is is very skittish understandably so because of its small size.
