The Blue Velvet Angelfish (Centropyge deborae) is a species of pygmy angelfish which can only be found in Fiji. They were initially thought to be a subspecies of the Midnight Angelfish, though have since been identified as a different species altogether. They have a solid blue or indigo body and reach a maximum size of 3 inches. They should be monitored within reef tanks, to ensure they are not nipping at corals. They can be kept in tanks of at least 40 gallons with rocks to hide among. Their diet should consist of omnivorous preparations, consisting of krill, mysis or nori seaweed.
