Looking to add a unique and eye-catching touch to your aquarium?
Discover the beauty of the Tangerine Albino Clownfish. With
its hypo-melanistic features, this albino variant stands out from the
crowd. The absence of black pigment between its vibrant white and orange
stripes, as well as its reduced pigmentation in the fins, creates a
truly distinct and captivating look. While some black pigment remains in the fins and eyes,
the mutation behind this variant showcases the fascinating complexity of
the melanin synthesis pathway. Just like any other Ocellaris Clownfish
these guys do well as a single, pair, or school as long as they have
space for their territory. A single would need at least 10 gallons and
it does not need an Anemone to survive, but will accept many different
Anemones as its host, including corals. Their favorite Anemones to call
home are the Carpet Anemones Stichodactyla Gigantea or the Magnificent
Anemone Heteractis Magnifica. They will eat a variety of foods such as saltwater pellets, flakes, and frozen thawed shrimp and spirulina.
