Occasional protein in the form of a sinking carnivore pellet or bloodworm rounds things out. With a lifespan that can reach twelve years, this isn't a throwaway cleanup fish. It's a long-term resident with genuine personality, and the long-fin form makes it one of the more visually distinctive plecos you can keep at this size.
