The Red Eye Pygmy Goby (Trimma benjamini) is an elusive fish that is relatively rare in the marine life trade. They are typically found among stony reefs in the Indo-Pacific Ocean, where they seek shelter while scavenging for small crustaceans to feed on. This Pygmy Goby has a orange body with red rings around their eyes, hence their name. They are ideal for nano-tanks and do best in peaceful reefs with plenty of live rock to hide in. They should be fed a variety of carnivorous foods, such as brine shrimp, mysis or krill. Reaching a maximum size of 2 inches, they should not be kept with predatory fish.
