The Margined Butterfly (Chelmon marginalis) closely resembles the Copperband Butterfly, with the primarily white body, copper-orange vertical stripes and yellow fins. The noticeable difference is the lack of posterior stripes and false eye, with the Copperband having both of these markings. They can be found throughout the western Pacific Ocean and among the reefs of Australia, where they typically appear in pairs. They feed on a variety of invertebrates, including worms, crustaceans, algae and coral polyps. They are best kept in peaceful fish only tanks with fish of similar size and temperament. They reach 7 inches in length and require plenty of space to swim.
