The Blasto Coral (Blastomussa wellsi) is a long polyp stony coral which has a calcified skeletal structure with fleshy polyps of varying colors. They can thrive with moderate or low lightning with moderate or low flow. They benefit from supplemental feeding of carnivorous food, such as mysis or krill, fed bi-weekly. They do best in stable aquariums with plenty of nutrients. They are rather resilient though, making a great beginner LPS coral.
