The Pink Belly Wrasse is commonly referred as the Pearl-spotted Wrasse, Reef-flat Wrasse, Pink-belly Wrasse, Pinkbelly Wrasse, Saddled Rainbow-fish, or Saddled Rainbowfish. The Pink Belly Wrasse has beautiful coloration that can make a stunning addition to any home aquarium. The Pink Belly Wrasse can reach up to a maximum size of 5 inches and should be kept in a tank of not less than 50 gallons. The tank should be furnished well with a sand bed of at least 3 inches, and a plethora of live rocks and corals. The temperature range of 75-82 F and pH range of 8.1-8.4 forms the ideal water conditions for the Pink Belly Wrasse to thrive. The Pink Belly Wrasse likes to bury itself in search of food and enjoys a lot of rock-work. The Pink Belly Wrasse is a hardy and peaceful fish that can readily adapt to aquarium life. The Pink Belly Wrasse can fed on variety of foodstuffs like meaty diet including finely chopped shrimp flesh, mysis, fortified brine shrimp, finely chopped fish, black worms and other meaty frozen foods.. It is not easily prone to parasitic infections and is quite compatible with other wrasse. It makes a good addition to fish-only as well as reef aquariums. Make sure you are feeding your Pink Belly Wrasse regularly 3 times a day so as to avoid health deficiencies and live a long life.
