Blushing Cladiella is on of ORA's many aquacultured soft corals. Blushing Cladiella, also known as Colt Coral, are great beginner corals due to the fact that it will easily adapt to most conditions. The Blushing Cladiella is a photosynthetic coral, but is also a filter feeder obtaining minerals and nutrients from the water. If under less intense lighting, filter-feeder foods, such as Coral Smoothie, should be supplemented. Blushing Cladiella should not be placed near other corals as it could show aggression by releasing a slightly toxic chemical in the surrounding water. Blushing Cladiella have been known to grow more quickly than other leather corals, this is another reason it should not be placed near other corals.
