The ORA Blue Hypnea algae is a very unique macroalgae. With its blue iridescent coloration, and slower growth than most macroalgaes, Blue Hypnea is a great addition to display tanks and refugiums alike. The Blue Hypnea will loosely attach to coarse substrates, and grows to form matted clusters. The Blue Hypnea is more easily contained as it does not grow quickly, so keeping it in a display tank is not a hassle and is a beautiful addition. For optimal coloration and growth, moderate to high, full spectrum lighting is recommended.
