This amazing Knobby Starfish will be a nice addition to your aquarium due to its attractive color and distinguished design. The unusual look of this Knobby Starfish makes it different from the more traditional starfishes. Knobby Starfish features large ?knobs? all over its body and arms that holds the shape of a starfish in an accurate manner. The Knobby Starfish is very peaceful in nature and should not be housed with aggressive or predatory fishes. The Knobby Starfish is not reef safe and as it may nip on small crustaceans so, you can keep it in a fish only tank that features live rock. Do remember, the Knobby Starfish should not be housed with puffers. The temperature at which it will thrive while kept in an aquarium will be around 72-78 F and the pH level should be between 8.1-8.4. It is recommended to provide drip acclimation if you are introducing Knobby Starfish to a new home, as the Knobby Starfish is very sensitive and is intolerant to the sudden any changes in the water chemistry. As this is a Carnivore species, the diet of the Chocolate Chip Starfish can include shrimp, chopped clams, fish and squid once in a week. You can also provide them with supplements of trace elements for its continued good health. You can easily take care of a Knobby Starfish and it proves a good choice for a beginner aquarist.
