The Blue-Spotted Rabbitfish (Siganus corallinus), also known as the Blue-Spotted Spinefoot, is a vibrant fish found among the reefs of the Indo-Pacific Ocean. They have a bright yellow body with golden undertones, covered in small blue spots. They are herbivorous, searching reefs and outcroppings for seaweed and macro algae. They reach a maximum size of 8 inches and should be housed in an aquarium with at least 120 gallons. If very hungry, some rabbit fish may nip at long polyp stony (LPS) corals, so ensure they are well fed in reef systems. Use caution when placing hands in aquarium with S. corallinus, as the dorsal spikes are venomous and able to produce stings similar to that of a bee.
