The Yellow and White Coris Wrasse, Halichoeres trispilus, also known as the Four Spot Wrasse, Triplespot Wrasse, and the Yellow and Purple Wrasse, is primarily found in the Indian Ocean. It is usually an off-white color with variegated black and yellow spots and stripes across its body. Like other wrasses, the Yellow and White Coris Wrasse should be housed in a tank with plenty of rockwork to allow for the wrasse to hide as well as having a soft sandy substrate in the tank for the wrasse to burrow. A tightly closed lid is also necessary to prevent jumping. The Yellow and White Coris Wrasse is primarily a carnivore and will take most meaty prepared foods.
