They spend their time lodging over live rock, corals, and atop a sandy substrate. It is important to change the water monthly as the Yellow Cucumber can dirty it up pretty quickly and it is also best to have a moderate water flow throughout the tank. They are a peaceful an reef safe species that can also function as useful sand-sifters. The Yellow Cucumber feeds on dried zooplankton and will filter the water column for food.
