The Water Coral, Nephthea sp., is a type of soft coral with fleshy branching arms. The main "trunk" of the coral is often bare with it having very leafy and frilly ends. The Water Coral, like many other branching soft corals requires a specific set of tank specifications. They are best kept in tanks with moderate to high water flow, moderate lighting, and can be placed anywhere in the tank. The Water Coral is best kept on a regiment of supplemental feedings of small meaty foods. Overall, this is a great branching soft coral for beginners as it can be easier to keep than other similar looking corals.
