Smooth Hound Shark: Grey - Mustelus californicus
It likes to live in a shallow sandy bottom. The Smooth Hound Shark: Gray is gray with mixtures of blue and brown in different places on it's body. The shark feeds on bottom dwelling prey such as worms, clams, crabs, shrimp, and small fish. It has short blunt teeth and small grinding plates that are well adapted to feeding on shellfish.
