The Silver Sweetlips, Diagramma pictum, is a juvenile sweetlips fish. They are known for being exceptionally difficult to keep in a home marine aquarium system so it is recommended that the Silver Sweetlips should only be kept by expert or very experienced aquarists. They are aptly named for their puffed out lips. They can be semi-aggressive, are carnivorous, found in the Indian and Pacific Oceans, and need at least 100 gallons to thrive. The Silver Sweetlips is quite a fickle fish and can become dis-tempered or begin to refuse food with any small change in the aquarium system.
