The Rhodactis Mushroom, Rhodactis sp. is a brilliantly red/orange mushroom with cauliflower like patterns. This particular "super" mushroom is the most spectacularly colored we have in stock. The Rhodactis Mushroom is quite hardy and easy to care for in the home aquarium. They are best housed in tanks with low lighting and low waterflow. As with most corals, they should be kept a good distance away from other corals so when their tentacles spread, they don't damage any nearby organisms. Mostly a photosynthesizer, the Rhodactis Mushroom will benefit from supplementary feedings of prepared aquarium foods. There are usually several mushroom polyps attached to one rock.
