The Pink and Blue Shrimpgoby, Cryptocentrus leptocephalus, has a beautiful blue/white body with muted pink striping and vibrant neon spots across its face and back. It thrives well in tanks with plenty of live rock, a sandy substrate, and a tightly sealed lid to prevent escapes. The Pink and Blue Shrimpgoby is not aggressive but can be territorial with members of its own species in close quarters. They will build a burrow in the sand and spend much of their time swimming into the water column to collect food. They can form a symbiotic relationship with some species of shrimp, like the Pistol Shrimp. It is best to introduce multiple species at the same time to hedge against one of them becoming territorial.

Got him much bigger than I expected, he was active and in great shape. Seems grumpy all the time, but he is a nice guy. Stays hidden most of the day, can sometimes catch him in the evening or morning. I worry that he doesnt get enough to eat, but he is still healthy. As far as I know, didnt seem to care about the pistol shrimp I dropped in, but then again I rarely see either of them, so who knows!
