The Pinecone Fish, Cleidopus gloriamaris, has a multitude of alternative common names including the Pineapple Fish, Pineapplefish, Knight Fish, Knightfish, and Australian Pineapple Fish.   The Pinecone Fish has a beige/yellow body with a series of scaly black lines resembling the ridges of a pinecone or pineapple. The Pinecone Fish  is seemingly always smiling as well due to bioluminescent bacteria that lives inside their mouth glowing a green or red color. Their bodies are an even ovular shape with spiny dorsal fins. Its scales are quite tough and act as an armor protecting the fish - hence where the common name "Knightfish" comes from. It should be in a tank with plenty of live rock creating caves, cliffs and crevices of their natural habitat.
