The Pagoda Cup Coral, Turbinaria sp., also known as the Turban Coral, Lettuce Cup Coral, Vase Coral, and Scroll Coral, is a species of LPS coral that grows in a conical or cup shape with its polyps extending vertically and horizontally both day and night. The Pagoda Cup Coral is easy to care for making it a great choice for beginner aquarists. It is best housed in a tank with moderate lighting, moderate waterflow, and is able to be housed near other corals as it is non-aggressive. The Pagoda Cup can propagate easily in the tank making it a great coral to watch grow.

This Pagoda cup was awesome. It arrived in great shape with good color. I really feel like it was worth every penny!

Opened right up in my nano. Seems to prefer shaded areas though. Originally placed it was nearly horizontal. But when I turned it more to the light (at the bottom of my tank still) the polyps closed. They opened back up a day or so after tilting it back horizontal. It's a beautiful coral, and oh DARN I have to have it facing me at my viewing angle! ;-)
