The Lyretail Hawkfish, Cyprinocirrhites polyactis, is also known as the Red Hawkfish, Pink Hawkfish, Soaring Hawkfish, and Swallowtail Hawkfish. It features a gorgeous red splotched body with a sharp ridged dorsal fin and filamentous pectoral fins. Multiple Lyretail Hawks can be kept in the same tank only if introduced at the same time to curb territorialism. They will eat a varied carnivorous diet and might nip on small fish and ornamental inverts so be cautious with tank pairings.
