The Solar Fairy Wrasse, Cirrhilabrus solorensis, has one of the most stunning color combinations of all wrasses. Its deep electric blue/purple body is beautifully accented with a yellow face, pink forehead, black trimming, and silver fins. It is a reef safe fairy wrasse that makes for a great addition to any tank and for any beginner aquarist. 

With its small size, friendly temperament, and hardy nature, this is an excellent fish to care for in the home aquarium. They will refrain from nipping on corals and will spend much of their time exploring nooks and crannies in live rockwork in the tank. 

If keeping multiple individuals in the tank, it is best to introduce females to the tank first as males can become aggressive towards females if introduced first. The Solar Fairy Wrasse is easy to feed and will accept quality flake foods, and frozen meaty preparations.
