The Blueberry Gorgonian, Diodogorgia nodulifera, is a fascinatingly beautiful species of gorgonian. It is a red colored branching fan with blueberry colored polyps that will certainly light up your aquarium. It requires a moderate-strong waterflow to prevent algae growth and allow it to catch food as it is a filter feeder. Finely chopped brine and mysis should be added to the tank occasionally to supplement the Blueberry Gorgonian's food intake. They are best placed towards the bottom of a low-moderate lighted tank. The Blueberry Gorgonian is native to the Pacific Ocean and is reef safe.
