The Blue Xenia, Cespitularia sp., also known as Blue Cespitularia. This particular specimen is aqua cultured making it exceptionally acclimated to the home aquarium environment. Blue Xenia are photosynthetic but will readily take supplemental feedings of prepared aquarium foods. It will thrive in tanks with moderate lighting, moderate water flow, and should be placed in the middle to the top of the tank. Placement should also be away from other corals to ensure they don't harm each other when their tentacles extend.
