The Blue Reef Chromis, Chromis cyaneus, also known as the Blue Chromis, is an active and peaceful fish that generally resides in the top half of the tank swimming in open water. It is a shoaling fish taht is best kept in large groups. They eat an omnivorous diet consisting of a range of meaty foods, and quality herbivorous flake and pellet food. Vitamin-enriched foods will help preserve the Blue Reef Chromis' vibrant blue sheen. The Blue Reef Chromis is an excellent beginner fish and is peaceful an able to cohabitate with most other fish species, corals, and inverts.
