It is more susceptible to lateral line disease, fin erosion, ich and other skin parasites than many other fish. When frightened, the yellow belly blue hippo tang, particularly juveniles, hide behind live rocks or within branching corals.
I added this little guy to my 90gallon tank not to long ago, he still is kinda small but his belly is very vibrant even at this young age he is. And only to get brighter as he gets older!!! Beautiful fish.
