The Purple Candelabra Gorgonian, Plexaura flexuosa, is an easy to care for and non-aggressive Gorgonian that shouldn't be put in contact with other corals or anemones. They are able to adapt to a wide variety of lighting and waterflow. The Purple Candelabra Gorgonian is a rare colored morph that features upright branches in a parallel plane with an ultra purple coloration pattern with small cream colored polyps. This coral is a wonderful addition to any reef tank and will surely add a splash of color.

The Purple Candelabras are sustainably produced Caribbean photosynthetic gorgonians. Small frags are sustainably collected in the Caribbean and then are attached to coral plugs & grown in a Florida greenhouse until encrusted and ready for the home aquarium. The adult colony is in no way affected and regrows its branches creating a no impact sustainably collected gorgonian for your saltwater reef tank.
