They may come in variety of sizes and color on a single rock or multiple pieces. The Zoanthid are colonial type corals, which means each coral is a colony of separate polyps living together. They are extremely hardy and excellent beginner corals. Zoanthids are the most beautiful and stunning colored corals in the marine aquarium. It is the perfect choice for the novice aquarists. Most of it hosts the symbiotic Zooxanthellae in their tissue, which creates food and provides nutrition to it. The Zoanthid will thrive in all type of marine lighting, because of this the Zoanthid makes a very good addition to any first time reefers tank. They grow really fast and its propagation is really easy to do. It should be attached at the bottom of the tank and are relatively easy to care. It can thrive well in moderate lighting and water flow. Being bright and colorful in appearance, the Zoanthid makes an indisputably stunning centerpiece in any aquarium. It is also recommended to keep these under true actinic lighting. Also, most of the Zoanthids shows stinging behavior which tends to shoot poison darts on prey. Due to the photosynthesis process, the Zoanthid do not need any additional supplements.

Beautiful zoos
I got a small rock with at least 20 polyps on it. They are purple with a green center, quite beautiful. Happy I purchased!
