The Pizza Crust Carpet Anemone is commonly known as Pizza Sea Anemone, Pizza Anemone, Sticky Carpet Anemone, Nap-Edged Anemone, and Adhesive Sea Anemone. It has a sticky foot at the bottom that can adhere to the aquarium surface or rock work. The Pizza Crust Carpet Anemone looks lovely when its tentacles flows over the rocks. It has variant bump colors that make it a unique species in a home aquarium. The Pizza Crust Carpet Anemone has identifiable 'pizza-like' or ?carpet-like? appearance, which features a wide oral disc that contains two types of tentacles, and two different colorations. In the center core it is featured with short skinny sticky tentacles which are multi-branched, and fat annular tentacles on the outer rim. Its contrasting colors with distinctive shape resembles a thick crust pizza, or a carpet that is bounded around the edge, thus it is called the Pizza Sea Anemone. A tank with 40 gallons of size is preferable as the Pizza Crust Carpet Anemone grows up to 4? inches in size. The water conditions that are suitable for the Pizza Crust Carpet Anemone to flourish well in a tank are 74.0 to 82.0 F. The Pizza Crust Carpet Anemone should be given a diet of small meaty foods including brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, bloodworms or finely chopped silversides and smelts. It should be fed many times a week for its continued good health. The use of Purigen and Poly-fiber would be of great aid in maintaining water quality for compatibility requirements.
