The Jasmine Polyp is not difficult to maintain and makes a good choice for all kinds of reef aquarists, especially novice aquarists. The Jasmine Polyp requires moderate lighting combined with moderate water movement to flourish well. The Jasmine Polyp has zooxanthellae that dwells inside its tissue, and helps in manufacturing food and deriving nutrition using light. The Jasmine Polyp also benefit from the additional supplements of micro-plankton or foods designed for filter feeding invertebrates.
