The Forked Corallimorph is a mushroom coral, also known as the Forked Tentacle Mushroom. The Forked Corallimorph has a spiked appearance due to the forked "tentacles". This mushroom coral is not as tolerant of poor water conditions as most mushroom corals, and therefore not as easy to care for. Although within a well-cared for system, it will easily reproduce. The Forked Corallimorph prefers low light and low water flow conditions. In nature, the Forked Corallimorph is found growing on dead coral, rubble, and on the bases of gorgonians. These mushroom corals have many different color variations, but usually are green or brown.
