The Cherry Spotted Dottyback is also known as the Cherry Pseudochromis. With a mostly white body, the Cherry Spotted Dottyback gets its name from the red spots on the back portion of its body. The Cherry Dottyback is a more aggressive fish, therefore it should be housed in an aquarium atleast 40 gallons or more. A pretty active fish, the Cherry Spotted Dottyback will spend most of its time out in the open swimming around the tank. Remain cautious if also housing ornamental shrimp with the Cherry Spotted Dottyback as they have been known to eat shrimp. The Cherry Spotted Dottyback should be offered a variety of meaty foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and chopped clams.
