The Royal Gramma, Gramma loreto, has a bisecting color patter with its front half purple and its back half a bright orange or yellow. Like other Basslets they should not be housed with another Basslets to avoid aggression, but can be kept safely and peacefully in a reef tank with other tank mates. They are very hardy making them easy to acclimate and care for.

Corals and larger invertebrates like shrimp are safe from this Basslet, though they will consume very small invertebrates such as amphipods , isopods and copepods. Diet should include a variety of live or frozen mysis shrimp and vitamin enriched brine shrimp 1-2 times daily.
The Pygmy Angelfish, Centropyge argi, also known as the Cherubfish, Pygmy Dwarf Angelfish, and Atlantic Pygmy Angelfish, exhibits a beautiful blue body with a yellow orange face and blue rings around its eyes. Having a typical shape for dwarf angels, a small elongated oval shape body with rounded fins. The Pygmy Angelfish is very active in nature, and is a hardy fish, however like other Angelfish, they should be kept singly and not with other Angelfish.

Though they are safe to house with inverts such as Shrimp, Crabs, Snails, and Starfish, they are not reef safe as they will pick at Large Stony Polyp Corals and Clam mantles and may even nip at Feather Dusters, Bristle Worms, Clams, and Flatworms. The Pygmy Angelfish will graze the algae growth on live rocks between meals. Diet should include a variety of both veggie and meaty preparations such as spirulina algae, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and should be fed 3 times daily.

Very nice duo. Both very healthy and active.
